Young people are engaging with AI in emotionally sensitive and developmentally distinct ways. apgard ai provides youth AI safety infrastructure, enabling product teams to test, monitor, and improve the safety alignment of their systems throughout the product lifecycle. We help companies make AI safer by building and testing guardrails that ensure AI supports the safety and well-being of all youth.

Meet The Founder

Vivian Chong

Vivian Chong, Co-Founder and CEO, is dedicated to building safe digital experiences. She previously built safety tools at TikTok and led the trust & safety industry's first market research report at Duco. She also holds an MBA from Yale and has led digital transformation efforts at Fortune 500 companies as a consultant at IBM.

Ariel Colon

Ariel Colon is the CTO and Co-Founder of apgard ai, where she helps teams safeguard AI products for youth. She brings over eight years of experience in trust and safety engineering and content moderation from Snap, Patreon, and Zoom.
