Olivia DeRamus is a women's ethical tech advocate and the founder and CEO of Communia. A survivor who's spent her career working to make digital spaces safer for women and girls, she's challenged the tech industry to see user safety as good for business, not a cost to it. She believes private companies have a powerful role to play in positive social change, and built Communia to prove it. Her two large-scale studies on women's social media experiences have shaped conversations from the U.K. Houses of Parliament to Harvard, with her wider work featured everywhere from BBC News to TechCrunch.
