Inner Peak

Inner Peak is a multi-tiered system of supports that increases the capacity of school counseling teams; our wellness infrastructure tracks student wellbeing, teaches resilience and coping skills, and triages students to the appropriate level of support.

Inner Peak provides wellness infrastructure for schools and districts, offering regular well-being check-ins, personalized prosocial support, and CASEL-aligned skill development. It enables schools to build a future where every student and staff member feels seen, valued, and connected, while strengthening resilience and meaningful real-world relationships. Developed by experts from Harvard and Stanford, and drawing on interdisciplinary expertise in public health, relationship science, education, and mental health, Inner Peak bridges research with practical, scalable solutions for schools.

Meet The Founder

Sean Wheelock

Sean Wheelock's background is in Applied Math and psychology. After graduating from Harvard, he worked in management consulting at Bain & Company's New York office. His personal struggles with mental health inspired him to leave his role at Bain to pursue entrepreneurship in the mental health space, attending Stanford Graduate School of Business and working in strategy, operations, and sales roles at four different mental health and wellness startups before founding Inner Peak. In his free time, Sean loves running marathons, golfing, and reading psychology and business books.

Ben Anandappa

After graduating from Harvard with a degree in computer science, Ben Anandappa began his career as a software engineer. Shaped by early experiences of family loss, he developed an interest in strengthening human relationships, which led him to research roles at Northwestern University's Relationship and Motivation Lab and the University of Chicago's Chicago Center for HIV Elimination. Ben is committed to supporting students whose lived experiences influence how they show up in school, and to helping young people feel seen, supported, and connected.
