Meet The Founder

Jamila Sams

Jamila Sams, M.A.Ed. is an education entrepreneur building solutions to one of the most urgent challenges facing schools today: student disengagement. As the Founder & CEO of We Do It 4 the Culture™ (WDI4TC), she has transformed more than 25 years of experience as an educator, curriculum developer, and school leader into an evidence-based social-emotional learning platform that leverages media, storytelling, and culture to strengthen belonging, increase engagement, and improve school climate. Today, WDI4TC serves more than 150 schools across 16 states, helping educators create environments where students feel seen, heard, and valued.

Kareem McQuilkin

Kareem McQuilkin is an educator, leader, and Brooklyn native with more than 16 years of experience working in schools and with teachers. He started his career as a NYC public school teacher and district leadership coach, spending seven years teaching in the same neighborhood where he grew up. Today, Kareem brings that same energy to We Do It 4 The Culture™, a SEL-driven student engagement platform that connects with students through storytelling hip-hop pedagogy and youth culture.
